The evil is almost defeated. The evil being Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments TV series on Freeform & Netflix. Now that the series is in its endgame with its final two episodes on the horizon, I am here to make a plea to anyone and everyone who will listen: Leave The Mortal Instruments series alone.
I’m currently in the middle of my second official Snow Day of 2019! (Well, technically my third due to freezing rain we had in the city last Wednesday that lead to multiple class cancellations.)
Self-Care experts like myself have perfected the art of how to use Snow Days wisely. For some, it may be harder to actually be productive during days when you are snowed in and the temptations of your home (your bed, TV, game console, your phone etc.) are all around you
Don’t fret! I’m here to offer you some advice on how you can use your Snow Day in a way that you will thank yourself for come tomorrow.
Live TV musicals were the norm back in the day, but for our generation they were revived in 2013 with NBC’s live production of The Sound of Music.
Since then, TV networks have joined in the live musical frenzy.
The good thing about live TV musicals is that they give people who may not have the privilege a chance to watch live stage productions.
The bad thing about live TV musicals…well…sometimes they just don’t hit the mark with fans. (And trust me, musical theatre nerds are SAVAGE.)

If it hasn’t already been made crystal clear to you from my previous posts, I am a Marvel stan through and through. Even so, I do have a soft spot for some DC content from time to time.
In my opinion, Gotham is by far the best thing DC has going for it in terms of its television shows. (Full disclosure, I am a fan of The Flash because Barry Allen and Co. are just too entertaining and pure to resist. Other than that, I don’t watch any of the other Arrow-verse programs…With the exception of the yearly crossover episodes.)
